Our advisory councellor Christoph Eichhorn, presently working in the German embassy in Washington, sent us the article of FAZ on the obsequies for Lord Dahrendorf on November 3, 2009 in St Margaret's (cathedral near Westminster Abbey) including the remembrance speech of Mr. Timothy Garton Ash, a German speeking british historian, less known in the United Kingdom than in Germany. Mrs. Margitta Wülker-Mirbach, chairperson of the Gernan friends of LSE, participated in the funeral service.
