On October 17-18, 2015, the annual meeting of the German Friends of LSE took place in Düsseldorf.
After a tour through the historic old town and the Schiffahrtsmuseum, we met for coffee and cake on the top floor of the Schlossturm, featuring magnificent views of the Rhine and Düsseldorf. Afterwards, we enjoyed a tour through the highly recommended Zurbaran exhibition at museum Kunstpalast.
In the evening, we enjoyed a dinner at the Goldener Ring restaurant and a lecture by Vasyl Myroshnychenko, President of the Ukrainian Friends of LSE and Co-Founder of Ukraine Crisis Media Center, on "Ukraine Crisis. Hybrid Warfare and Russian Disinformation", before small groups headed for the old town's party streets...
On Sunday morning a (late) brunch at Eigelstein in the Media Harbour nicely ended the annual meeting.
