About the event
Dear alumni, dear friends,
The history of Kölsch goes back several hundred years, with the city council and the brewers fighting in the 17th century about the “right approach” to brew beer. Today, Kölsch is a protected geographical indication and needs to be brewed within 50km of the city of Cologne and according to the Kölsch Konvention of the local breweries. Have you wondered how the brewing process works and which other stories surround the drink?
We cordially invite you to join us at a technical brewery visit to Sünners on Saturday, 20 April, to explore the process of brewing Kölsch and enjoy a Stammtisch with fellow LSE and Ivy Circle alumni afterwards.
We will meet at entrance of Sünners Brauwelt, Kalker Haupstr. 260, 51103 Cologne at 18.50 h, 10 minutes ahead of the tour. The tour will be held in English and last ca. 60 minutes, including one glass…
