JOIN OUR ASSOCIATION
All LSE graduates automatically become a member of the worldwide LSE Alumni Association upon graduation, offering access to the LSE Alumni Centre in London, the LSE Alumni website, the LSE Alumni Online Book Club, digital skills courses and support by the LSE Careers Service. We encourage you to share your contact details with the LSE so that you can stay connected with the School.
Additionally, LSE graduates and current students can become a paid-up member of the German Friends of LSE ("Freunde der LSE e.V."), the offficial LSE alumni association in Germany.
A membership offers you these additional benefits:
Enjoy public lectures and events with (LSE-)academics, politicians, business leaders and other renowed speakers to learn and debate about current issues while benefitting from reduced participation fees
Meet and network with other LSE alumni at our regular (networking-)events organized by the regional groups in Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Munich and the Rhine-Ruhr area (Düsseldorf, Cologne, Essen)
Access the member database with profiles of more than 400 alumni
Access our vacancy board for career opportunities by fellow members and find highly qualified fellow members for your own vacancies by publishing job offers
Access our catalogue of member resources ranging from discounts on journals to access to professional networks
Be first to learn about upcoming events by receiving our members' newsletter
Our annual membership fee is 50 Euro. Students, PhD candidates and legal trainees ("Referendare") pay a reduced fee of 25 Euro. The membership fee is tax deductible in Germany.
Please either complete the online membership application form, which allows you to sign-up in a fully digital way, or download the registration form and SEPA Mandate (page 2 of the form) and send them either by email to firstname.lastname@example.org or by post to:
