The Board runs and steers the association and is elected for a two year term at the Annual General Meeting.

PIA WAGNER

President

Pia is leading the German Friends of LSE as president of our club since 2016. Prior to this, she served as member of the board and vice president since 2008. She also served at the Executive Committee of the global LSE Alumni Association from 2013-2020. Pia graduated from LSE with a M.Sc. in International Accounting and Finance in 1998. She is based in Frankfurt and works as management consultant, focusing on IT-transformation and change programs in the financial industry

MANUEL GEGGUS

Vice President

Manuel is serving as vice president of the German Friends of LSE since 2016 and focuses mainly on communication and media activities. He joined the team in 2012 as member of the committee after he graduated from LSE with a M.Sc. in International Management in 2011. Manuel is based in Düsseldorf and works as Head of Development Optimization for RWE Renewables Europe & Australia.

RÜDIGER TROST

Vice President

Rüdiger Trost joined the Board of the German Friends of LSE in 2006 and is serving as vice president and reigonal coordinator in Frankfurt. Rüdiger attended the General Course at LSE in 1990/91 and works as Head of Finance for a German merchant bank.

Treasurer

Lukacs joined the Board in 2016. In 2023 he was elected as Treasurer. Lukacs is one of our regional coordinators in Berlin.

SEBASTIAN HOERING

Member of the Board

Sebastian joined the board in 2023 after helping the team to organise events for several years. He graduated from LSE with a M. Sc. in New Media, Information, and Society in 2001.

Sebastian is based in Munich and runs a company which consults leading German companies in taking their digital product development processes to the next level.
