The Harvard Club of Munich is now pleased to extend our invitation to the Ivy Circle Community to a presentation and Q&A with Dr. Florian Herrmann, Head of the Bavarian State Chancellery and Bavarian State Minister for Federal Affairs and Media, on the occasion of the 250th anniversary of the United States. The evening will include a seated dinner at the legendary Rosewood Hotel Munich on Monday, 27 July 2026, starting at 19 h.
In its 250th year, the United States invites reflection – on the ideas it was founded upon, the long arc of the transatlantic relationship, and the ties that continue to bind Europe, Germany and Bavaria to America. Dr. Herrmann brings a distinctly personal perspective: a lawyer by training, he completed his Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Pennsylvania and has long been engaged with federal and European affairs as head of the Bavarian State…
