Recap: LSE Alumni Sailing and Networking Weekend 2026 at Lake Tegernsee

On 25–26 July 2026, 20 alumni and friends came together for the LSE Alumni Sailing & Networking Weekend at Lake Tegernsee. Set against the scenic Bavarian landscape, the weekend offered a relaxed opportunity to reconnect, meet new people and enjoy a shared sailing experience.
Sunshine and favourable wind conditions provided an ideal setting for Saturday afternoon’s sailing session. Following an introduction led by experienced skippers, participants either explored the lake aboard daysailer yachts or competed in a small regatta.
In the evening, the group gathered for a barbecue dinner at Hotel Terrassenhof. The informal setting gave participants ample opportunity to exchange ideas, renew acquaintances and build new connections within the LSE alumni community.
On Sunday morning, the programme continued with a private guided tour of ZERO: An International Art Movement at the Olaf Gulbransson Museum in Tegernsee. The exhibition offered an engaging cultural conclusion to the weekend, followed by a networking lunch at Gasthof Schießstätte.
We would like to thank everyone who joined us and contributed to the enjoyable atmosphere throughout the weekend. We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new faces to next year’s Sailing & Networking Weekend.
