The General Meeting of the German Friends of LSE took place at the Evangelische Akademie Frankfurt on Saturday, 4 February 2023.
Pia thanked Marina Müller-Brockhausen, widow of our former treasurer Dr. Gerd Müller-Brockhausen, for the support she provided during the handover period and presented her a book of condolence, showing how well known and respected Gerd Müller-Brockhausen had been in the German and global LSE Alumni Organisation.
During the General Meeting members unanimously elected the new board for the new term: Pia Wagner (President), Manuel Geggus (Vice President), Rüdiger Trost (Vice President), Lukacs Dörfner (Treasurer), Florian Brum and Sebastian Hoering (Members of the Board). Ruth Harte agreed to serve another term as Cash Auditor.
Christine Bartsch had decided not to seek reelection. Pia Wagner, president of the German Friends of LSE, thanked her on behalf of all members for her long-term commitment and contributions.
